Eligibility : Passed 10+2 with a paper each in Chemistry, Physics and Maths. He/She should be between 17-25 to 25 year as on October 1st of the year of JEE.
Scheme of Examination : The entrance exams consists of 2 papers of 3 Hrs. each. Each having 3 section of Physics, Chemistry and Maths.

All India Engg. Entrance Examination (AIEEE) conducted by CBSE.

Total Seats : 12000 (Approx.) in 110 institutes
Eligibility : Passed 10+2 with minimum Agg. of 50% marks in P.C.M and should be of 17 years of age .

Eligibility : 10+2 with 50% marks in agg. in PCM. The location of the school or college from where a student gives the qualifying examination decides as to where he must apply for taking the common Entrance Exam. 50% of the seats are reserved for students of the state in which the REC is located and the remaining 50% of seats are ear marked for candidates from other states with Quota for each state based on population.

Army Institute of Technology (Pune)

Eligibility : Only children of Army Personnel. Age 16-21 years. 10+2 with PCM with 50% aggregate.
Test Pattern : The Entrance exam is of 2 hours duration and the total no of Questions are 150; Chemistry (40 Qs.); Physics (40 Qs.); Mathematics (45 Qs.); English (15 Qs.); Logical Reasoning (10 Qs.). The exam also have 1/3 negative marking.

Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune

State Level Engineering Entrance Examination (SLEEE)

SLEEE is conducted by the states for Entrance to institutions falling within their states against seats reserved for students from within the states.
Various Entrance Exams under SLEEE–JAT-Assam, BCECE-Bihar, JEE-W.B, UPSEAT-U.P, CEE-Delhi, CEET-Haryana, CET-Punjab, PET-MP, PET-Raj., EAMCET-A.P., CET-Karnataka, TNPCEE-T.N etc.

Delhi – CEE (Combined Entrance Examination). The University of Delhi holds CEE for admission to BE in DCE and NSIT.

Eligibility : 85% seats are reserved for students who have passed 10+2 from Delhi schools and 15% for students from all other states. 10+2 of CBSE or 12 years ISCE or equivalent in PCM of Delhi University with 60% of marks 50% for SC/ST and 55% for wards of Defence with English (Core) in class X or XII.

Assam – JAT (Joint Admission Test)

Exemption : GOI / State nominees
Eligibility : Indian citizens and permanent residents of Assam
Age : 17 to 21 years upto 25 for B.Sc & SC/ST. Passed Higher secondary 10+2 from Assam Education Board with Physics, Chemistry, Maths 50% (45% for SC/ST).

Bihar – BCECE (Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Exam)

Eligibility : Should be a native of Bihar or students to fulfill domicile requirements of states. Exemption is granted to children of central government, public sector. Age : 17 to 22 years, up 27 years for SC/ST. Passed 10+2 of Bihar Board in PCM with 45%.

West Bengal : JEE (Joint Entrance Examination), also known as WB-JEE.

Eligibility : Candidates residing in state for 10 years or the parents are permanent resident of West Bengal. Passed 12 years of Higher Secondary exam of West Bengal Board or equivalent with English, Chemistry, Maths. Maximum age 21 years, 24 years for SC/ST

Uttar Pradesh – UPSEAT (U.P State Engineering Admission Test)

Exam : (a) Prelims.– May and (b) Main – June
Eligibility : Candidates whose parents are domiciled in Uttar Pradesh but have passed qualifying examination outside the state are also eligible. Passed 10+2 with PCM of UP Board or equivalent 50% marks. Should have passed in English.

Haryana – CEET (Common Engineering Entrance Test), which is conducted by REC Kurukshetra.

Eligibility : 80% seats for domicile candidates, i.e., those qualifying from schools of Haryana, 20% for wards of State-residents working in other states. Candidates appearing should have secure atleast 50% marks in PCM and English.

Punjab – CET (Common Entrance Test), which is conducted by Punjab Technical University.

Eligibility : Domicile seats are available to candidates who have passed 10+2 from Punjab and Chandigarh University in PCM. Some seats for offered to candidates passing qualifying exam from other states, they have to appear for AIEEE.
Scheme of Exam : The Entrance test consists of 4 sections i.e. Section I, II, III of objective type in PCM & descriptive type short questions and section IV is test of Punjabi language.

Madhya Pradesh – PET (Professional Engineering Test)

Eligibility : Candidates should have studied in the state for 3 years during 5 preceding years in which admission is sought or should be residents of M.P., passed 10+2 with PCM of M.P. or equivalent.

Rajasthan – PET (Pre Engineering Test), which is conducted by Rajasthan Malviya Regional Engg. College.

Eligibility : Domicile candidates should have studied for atleast 2 years in Rajasthan or his/her parents have resided continuously for 10 years in Rajasthan and should have studied for 5 years in Rajasthan. Passed 10+2 with PCM of Rajasthan Board or equivalent. Age : 17 to 23 years.

Andhra Pradesh – EAMCET (Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test)
Notification : February / March

Eligibility : Residents of State and children of employees of State Govt/Central/Local bodies/Universities & Public sector. Passed 10+2 with PCM. Age : 16 on Dec. 31.

Karnataka – CET (Common Entrance Test)

Exam : June / July
Eligibility : 10 Academic years of study between class I and qualifying exam. Passed 10+2 with 50% in PCM.

Tamil Nadu – TNPCEE (Tamil Nadu Professional Course Entrance Exam)

Eligibility : All seats in Govt./Govt. aided/University and 50% in private colleges are called free seats. They are allotted to domiciled state Students who have cleared TNPCEE exam. 50% seats are open to candidates from Tamil Nadu and other states in self financed colleges. Exceptions : Children of Central, Public Sector/Government recognised institutions serving in state for 5 years. Age : Below 21 years on 1st July. Passed 10+2 in PCM with 60% aggregate.
