Sachdeva Institute of Education Organizes Relief Camp for
Flood Victims

As Yamuna had inundated many villages in Agra and Mathura, the students and staff of Sachdeva Institute of Education joined hands together for the noble cause of helping the flood victims. The institute organized a relief camp on 29.09.2010 in Koyla Alipur, one of the flood-hit villages of Mathura District.
While passing through the villages signs of destruction could be seen everywhere; broken houses, flooded fields, dead poultry and livestock. Amidst all the villagers were trying to pick up the pieces of whatever remains of their lives. The flood has just left misery and utter despair for the villagers.
Dr. Aradhana (Principal) consoled the people and made an appeal to face the situation with patience and courage. The staff and students distributed 200 packets containing biscuits, breads, toasts, water, candle, match box and other basic necessities. All the students participated enthusiastically in this humanitarian action.

A cross section of the flood victims expressed their appreciation to the institute for the prompt assistance. Registrar of the institute Dr. Swarn Vir Singh, Estate Manager Mr. R.K. Tiwari and Public Relation Officer Mr. Shimbhu Dayal yadav were also present in the camp.
